Peru
Located in South America, this country adopted coffee in the mid-18th century, which was brought to in from the neighboring country of Ecuador. The main type of bean that is grown here is the Coffee Arabica variety. If you would like some pure-bred Coffee Arabica check out our offering of Yemeni Coffee. These beans are known for their mild acidity and dark notes.
This particular variety of coffee we offer comes from a village close to the city of San Jose del Alto, Jaen. This particular village, the San Francisco village, has a farmer named David who happens to produce some of the best coffee in the area, with abundant fruity flavors.
Drying method: Wet process, patio sun-dried.
Recommend Roast Level: Medium to Dark.
